Welch's Simply Refreshing Juice

I got to try a bottle of WELCH'S SIMPLY REFRESHING JUICE for free from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review.  Here it is:

I chose the strawberry raspberry flavor for Sammy (James does NOT like juice).  I could tell right away that Sammy didn't love it.  It kinda just tastes like watered down juice.
I get where Welch's is going, and I appreciate the fact that they made a juice with "honest" ingredients, but it just really doesn't taste that good.  Maybe one of the other flavors is better.

I prefer to give Sammy  100% juice, and this kind is only 15% real juice.

Kerastase Therapiste

I received this free from Influenster to try in exchange for my honest opinion.

I was really excited to try this!  It is always a treat for me to get to try "expensive" hair products!

What is different about this is you use the conditioner BEFORE the shampoo!  It repairs your hair and prepares it for the shampoo.

The fist step really smells great.  The second step (the shampoo) doesn't smell as good, but after using both of them, my hair always ends up smelling wonderful!

The thing that I really noticed about the shampoo is how thick it is.  It really coats all of my hair and, after rinsing it out, i can tell that my hair feels smoother.  This is followed up by the same thing after I blow dry (which is totally the look I am going for.  My hair is usually pretty puffy and frizzy, and I HATE that!).  Using this daily has really helped my hair become more straight and not frizzy!!!!!

The only bad thing I have to say is that both of the bottles come with screw-off lids.  Sometimes this is hard to work with when you are in the shower with wet hands.  I wish that they had tops that you can just push on the top and it opens up, or if they had a flip top.

I don't know how much this costs in stores, but if you are looking to repair damage and therefore have less frizzy hair, this may be worth it to you!  Go ahead and give it a try!  I am surely impressed!

Blue Lizard Sunscreen (Sensitive)

I got to try this for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion and review.  Here it is!:

I want to start out  by apologizing for not having a picture of the tube.  I left this at my parents' house after a weekend of swimming and will post a picture of it when my boys and I visit there again.

First of all, the coolest thing about this sunscreen is the fact that it has a clear cap that turns blue when exposed to UV rays.  It's like a reminder that it's time to slather some on!  REALLY AWESOME!

The sunscreen covers well and non of us have gotten sunburned while using it.  I put it on my boys' necks, face, and ears while they were swimming all day.  (They have rash guard swimming shirts, so I don't put it on their arms).

It worked really well and is fragrance free…although I don't mind fragrances, I actually prefer them, but no one in my family has any sensitivities toward them.

I really recommend this to people who want a chemical- and fragrance free sunscreen that really works!

Dramamine Non-Drowsy Naturals with Natural Ginger

I got to try this free from Influenster.  All opinions are true and are my own.  This came in my Nutrure VoxBox.

This VoxBox came just in time for our family's Disney World trip.  I used this almost every day.  I took some before boarding the plane (both to and from FL), I took some when we drove from Orlando to Clearwater and from Orlando to Cocoa Beach.  I also took it all 3 days we went to the theme parks.  I NEVER got nauseous or sick…even after riding the rides.

I oftentimes get carsick, but on this trip i did not….and I give the credit to this Dramamine!

On the drive from Orlando to Clearwater I forgot to take it before we left and I didn't have any water to take it with, so I just swallowed them without water.  I did kinda feel them stuck in my throat and I was kind of burping up ginger, so I would suggest making sure to take it with plenty of water.

Ore-Ida Easy Fries (Crispy Crowns)

I got to try these free from Influenster.  A coupon was given to me in my Nurture VoxBox.  All reviews are truthful

Gave these to my boys today.  I was surprised how crispy they got from being cooked in the microwave!  It took 3 and a half minutes and they came out crisp and delicious.

I don't remember how much they cost (I got them from Jewel), but I would def buy them again because of the ease and not having to heat up the oven (especially on a hot, humid day like today).

Glad OdorShield with Gain trash bags (UPDATED!)

I got to try these trash bags for free from Glad and BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review.

So far I am LOVING these bags.  More than once my nose has been saved thanks to the odor neutralizing Gain in these trash bags.  Here is a picture of the last load of garbage I had to take out after cleaning out my fridge (GROSS!  Somehow there was a container of sour cream left in there that expired November 4th!  I didn't even open it/clean it to recycle because I was too scared of the stench).

(I am embarrassed to show how much old food was in my fridge--there were not 1 but THREE open packages of bacon, sour cream, lunch meat, green onions, etc.).

As you can see in the picture, the bags really held up.  And based on the fact that I wasn't gagging all the way to the garbage bin in the garage, you can tell that the bags sure lived up to their title of "Odor Shield."  I could not smell and nasty old food garbage odor!

These bags have the nice stretch in them that makes is easy to fill (and when I say fill, i mean STUFF FULL) with all kids of things….even some things that are kind of sharp!  The bags simply stretch and don't rip or tear as easily as other brands of bags do.

I got a full-sized box of bags (there are 40 in the box), and I plan on buying these after the free ones are always used up.  You can buy them at Target (which is where I usually shop).  I recommend these to anyone who likes to neutralize odors in their trash cans.  What I also noticed about these is that just storing them in my pantry makes they pantry smell nice!

Go out and try some today!  I am sure you will not be disappointed!

UPDATE!!!

After using these bags for over a month now, I am in LOVE!  I will not buy any other bags now!  These truly are the BEST!  They give my whole kitchen a nice, subtle, fresh scent and have neutralized every odor that goes in my garbage!  I could go on and on about all the times that they have saved my nose from nasty old food and forgotten leftover stench!

If you haven't done so already, I still say get to Target and try some for yourself!  Surely you will notice a difference in the amount of trash they hold and the lack of garbage odors these leave behind!

Carefree Acti-Fresh Liners

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.  Here is a picture i took of one:

I like to use similar products on days I am only spotting before a period or the day after it ends as a safety measure so I do not run a chance of messing up my underwear. These are super thin and comfortable to wear. Also works great as a peace of mind when you are using a tampon and want to make sure if you are heavy you have back up protection just in case. 

You can not feel these at all…they are truly that thin.  I would recommend these to anyone!

Clairol iThrive (updated)

Day 1
I just redeemed one of my coupons for Clairol iThrive that I got for free from BzzAgent to redeem  at Sally Beauty Supply store.

As soon as I got back into my car after getting the free products, I opened up the shampoo and took a sniff.  Let me tell you, it really smells amazing!  The treatment doesn't smell quite as good as the shampoo, but its scent is wonderful as well.  A BIG PLUS IN MY BOOK!

I decided to get the style soothe line (even though i thought it was style SMOOTH, and i would love for my hair to be STICK STRAIGHT) after asking the employee what kind i should try since i blow dry my hair about every other day and get it highlighted about twice a year.

As soon as my boys went down for a nap i was ready to shower and try the new wonderful-smelling goodies!

After just one use my hair truly feels softer.  The shampoo lathers up nicely, smells delightful, and really seems to clean all the gunk from every strand!

I used (and will continue to use) the treatment as a regular conditioner.  I combed it through my freshly washed hair and let it sit on there for about 5-10 minutes while i shaved, washed my face and brushed my teeth (yes, i brush my teeth in the shower).  Then i rinsed it out.

I dried my hair like usual and felt a wonderful softness and smelled a wonderful scent!

I will continue to post about how this is working….i plan on using it and NO OTHER KINDS OF SHAMPOO OR CONDITIONER until my Clairol iThrive shampoo and treatment are both all gone.

Day 40

My hair still looks, feels, and smells great.  I have been using this system for over a month now, and I still love it!

The shampoo is my favorite, simply because of the scent.  Yes, it keeps my hair soft and smooth, but the smell is just so awesome that it really is a treat to use each time I wash my hair (which, as before, is about every other day).

I do not have to worry about tons of frizz or flyaways like I used to before using iThrive.

I am thinking about using the treatment as a styler.  I think I will try that tomorrow!!!!

Randoms (Wonka)

I got to try these new gummies from Wonka free through Smiley360.  (click on this link to go to the mission page).  These gummies are neat!

Each bag comes with tons of, well, RANDOM shapes, sizes, flavors, textures, and colors.  Some of the shapes I got just from reaching into the bag were a roller skate, a mustache, and a cat.  

Some of the gummies are jelly-filled, others are regular gummies, and some of them have a white, creamy-type gummy on the bottom.  They are all good!  I have no idea how they have so many different shapes and flavor varieties, but they are cool!

I looked at the bag and it says that they contain 5% juice, so that is good, right?!?!?  

Go out and try some today.  and in the meantime, check out my cheezy, RANDOM pics!

Reese's Spreads

This stuff is heaven in a jar!

I got a free jar or this in exchange for my honest review from Influenster.  I got it in the mail 2 days ago….the jar is seriously 80% gone already.

I would love to say that I made some delicious recipes with it or that I found some really awesome foods to pair it with, but the truth is I didn't.  My husband and I have literally been eating it straight out of the jar with a spoon.

The reason that I still have some left after only 2 days is because the day I got it the temperature outside (and, thus, in our mailbox) was 0 degrees and the jar was frozen solid.  I had to let it thaw overnight.

If you love chocolate and/or peanut butter or Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, this is for you.  I am sure I will end up buying MANY more jars of this.  Maybe I will actually use it as a spread or a dip, not just a snack straight out of a jar next time.

The spread isn't perfectly smooth….you can tell that there are real peanuts in there.  It seriously tastes just like a Reese's Peanut Butter cup.  I would recommend this to ANYONE who is not allergic to peanuts.  Actually, you are a fool if you pass this up in the peanut butter aisle at your store.!!

Emergen-C

I got 5 free envelopes of Emergen-C through Smiley360 to try in exchange for my review of them.  

THe first one I will review is the Warmers Berry Medley flavor.  For this kind you just mix it with 4-6 oz. hot water (like you would for tea or instant coffee).  THe flavor was good.  I bet this would be good cold, too!

I feel good drinking this, knowing that it supports the immune system and has vitamins in it.  It tastes way better than any other "vitamin powder drinks" that I have tried.

I will NOT be trying the coconut-pineapple flavor or the strawberry kiwi kind due to the fact that i can't stand those flavors of ANYTHING, so if you would like to try one of them (and i will see you soon) let me know and i will let you try it.  Just let me know what you think of it so i can add it to this post later!
